Art makes all interiors better, and being surrounded by art can be both inspiring and soothing - for our Visitors and our staff alike. For a long time now, we have been taking measures aimed at supporting young artists, as well as to work with their experienced counterparts in order to bring high art into hotel interiors.
Since its opening, Q Hotel Plus Wrocław Bielany housed two original paintings by Andrzej Fogtt in the hotel lobby.
Andrzej Fogtt is a highly acclaimed Polish painter, printmaker, sculptor and art theorist. His oeuvre comprises picturesque landscapes of the Brda and Bug Rivers, built up out of numerous layers, which evoke associations with Impressionism.

Andrzej Fogtt also agreed to produce signed digigraphs of his works, which adorn the walls of all rooms and can be seen up close by our Visitors.
Q Hotel also collaborates with the artist in other areas, including a partnership to support the opening of the “OTO JEST FOGTT” exhibition, which took place in April 2024 at the Zofia Weiss Gallery in Krakow.
Andrzej Fogtt represented Poland at the Biennial of Art in Venice in 1984 and studied with Magdalena Abakanowicz and Zdzisław Kępiński in Poznań.
On 9 April 2024, the opening of an exhibition of Andrzej Fogtt's works marked the start of Q Hotel's long-term collaboration with the Zofia Weiss Gallery, one of the leading art galleries on the Polish market and the largest gallery in Krakow, which focuses on promoting young artists’ work. With decades of experience and hundreds of exhibitions, as well as promotional campaigns, it has brought together artists and thousands of satisfied clients.
The aim of this partnership is to link the Hotel's business opportunities with the Gallery's promotional activities to support young artists, mainly from the Kraków milieu. The Zofia Weiss Gallery, which is associated with the Wojciech Weiss Museum Foundation, has a tight-knit partnership with the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, of which Weiss was a professor and rector. It highlights artists of the youngest generation, who graduate from the Academy - offering patronages and curatorial support.
Q Hotel will collaborate with the Gallery on selected promotional activities at the Zofia Weiss Gallery at Podwale 6 in Kraków, as well as exhibitions in the spaces of the reopened Q Hotel Plus Kraków Conference Centre on Wygrana Street. Introducing paintings, prints and sculptures into the hotel interiors will also give our Visitors the opportunity to embrace art and buy artworks at the Hotel - the paintings on display can be purchased by contacting hotel staff in advance.
The paintings adorn the spaces of the conference rooms, the restaurant, as well as the lobby bar. They inspire our Visitors and staff, all while making the hotel interiors much more pleasant to look at. The works of Peter Saul
Recently, Q Hotel Plus Wrocław hosted an exhibition by Piotr Saul, which was inaugurated with a vernissage on July 5. The event took place as part of the long-term cooperation between Q Hotel and DNA Galeria Sztuki. Piotr Saul's works are extremely energetic and full of colors, and structuralism intertwines with surrealism, creating an impressive combination.
Art is also seen as particularly important in the spaces of Q Hotel Plus Wrocław, our venue at the very heart of the capital of Lower Silesia on Zaolziańska Street. The hotel started a partnership with Wrocław's DNA Art Gallery, which encompasses hosting exhibition openings, as well as showcasing works by various artists in its interiors. The hotel hosted a number of exhibitions, including Inspirationsby Monika Łakomska and Holy Water by Grzegorz Waluś.
