The Q Hotel chain has always been close to art – at Q Hotel Plus Wrocław Bielany guests can admire works by Andrzej Fogtt. This time, the chain had the opportunity to support this artist’s initiative by being a partner of the opening night of his exhibition. The vernissage of the THIS IS FOGTT exhibition took place on 8 April 2024 at the Zofia Weiss Gallery at Podwale 6 in Krakow. The exhibition combines monumental, monochromatic landscapes with an impressive series of artist portraits, and visitors can admire it until 28 April 2024.

The opening of the Andrzej Fogtt exhibition was the inauguration of Q Hotel’s broader collaboration with the Zofia Weiss Gallery to support young artists, mainly from the Krakow art milieu, including students and graduates of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts. Bringing art into the hotel interiors gives our guests the opportunity to explore it and make purchases on site. The Zofia Weiss Gallery is one of the leading art galleries on the Polish market and the largest gallery in Krakow promoting the art of young artists. It is located in the heart of the Old Town at Podwale 6. It has several decades of experience and has hosted hundreds of exhibitions and promotional events, connecting artists with thousands of satisfied customers. The gallery’s patron is Wojciech Weiss, one of the most eminent painters of the Young Poland period, a student, professor, and rector of Krakow’s Academy of Fine Arts, and the curator is his granddaughter Zofia Weiss, an art historian and critic.
