SS Sołdek museum ship – The value of SS Sołdek is symbolic, but at the same time it is an important monument of technology. It is a prototype B-30 type ore and coal freighter, designed by the French shipyard in Le Havre. It was built entirely in the Gdańsk Shipyard and became the first Polish seagoing ship after the war.
European Solidarity Centre – The institution is a museum commemorating the Solidarity revolution and the fall of communism in Europe, but also an educational centre, a research centre, an archive, a library and a media library. And finally, it is a public space, a meeting place for citizens who feel responsible for the development of democracy: a zone for practising solidarity and citizenship.
