The Zoo Wrocław is the oldest zoo in Poland, having been opened in 1865 as the Breslau Zoological Garden while the city was part of Prussia. It is also the largest zoo in Poland - it is home about 12,000 animals representing about 1,100 species. The zoo includes among others: Africarium-Oceanarium, Madagascar pavilion, Odrarium, Terrarium, Ropes course Zoolandia, Children's Zoo, Rancho, food and drinks outlets. Wrocław Zoo is the most visited zoo in Poland.
